ECF Fabricate a CIP Filter Vessel for FPSO P-63

ECF Special Alloys has assisted Amazon Filters with Veolia VWS Westgarth’s conversion of FPSO P-63 in the Papa Terra oil field.

A 316L Stainless Steel CIP Filter Vessel was fabricated by ECF in conjunction with Amazon Filters designs, with the project being delivered successfully within a very tight schedule.

The CIP Filter vessel
completed by ECF will work within VWS Westgarth’s water treatment package on board P-63, a floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel operated by Petrobras of Brazil.

The Papa Terra oil field, situated 110km from the coast of Rio de Janeiro holds crude oil volumes of up to 1 billion barrels at depths of 3,937 feet.

The conversion of P-63 by Veolia VWS Westgarth with the assistance of Amazon filters and ECF Special Alloys will develop the Papa Terra oil field allowing it to produce and function to its full capacity.

The P-63 FPSO will have the capacity to process 140,000 bodp and 35 MMcf/d with a tankage system capable of storing 1.4MMbbl of oil.
